Ok, let me apologize 1000 times for not writing anything in forever! Our lives have been so hectic, but it's what I like to call a beautiful disaster!
Braxton has added new words to his vocabulary, which include fish, bird, bye bye momma or dada (a complete sentence haha), cheeto, and vita (vitamin). It's just been amazing watching him take off so quickly. Today he climbed up in his high chair and slid the tray on by himself! haha He's a stinker! He has been loving all the "ball" that's been on television lately. He will sit on the couch with us and watch it, and pretend to throw with the pitcher. He's also running EVERYWHERE! I mean literally running, he's only got one speed and it's super lightning fast! We had a nose bleed the other day. He used to get them all of the time, but we went several months without any. I guess the dry heat is causing him to get them once again. Last time we weighed in he was a whopping 19 lbs 4 oz! Luke and I will take him in tomorrow to be weighed in, so I'll post how much we hit tomorrow! Other than that Braxton's been eating amazingly well, hamburgers, hotdogs, grilled cheese sandwiches, french fries, peaches, spaghetti, the list really does keep going, FINALLY! He had his follow up appointment with the geneticist, and she said besides us having to worry about ADHD in the future he was doing great! Which made us all breathe a sigh of relief. After everything you've witnessed him going through in his short little life, these were very welcomed words.

I just recently had a breat reduction, 4 days after my best friend got married, Betsy and Phil we love and congratulations!! Braxton and I were both in the wedding! I was scared to death that Braxton wouldn't be able to walk down the aisle, but he did, and did great! Of course we didn't carry a pillow, but we still did it! Back to my surgery. Everything's been going great, I'm still in quite a bit of pain, but if you haven't heard the real story from Luke you need to...but I passed out on him in the shower Sunday afternoon! He was not very happy with me. Anyways, I'm doing great now, and I can't wait for the next couple of weeks to fly by and for me to make a full recovery. Thanks to everyone for all the prayers! I think Luke really needed most of them anyways =)
Luke's job is still going great! He's been off since last Thursday in order to take care of me and Braxton. I'm sure he will tell you taking care of Braxton has been much easier than taking care of me! Luke is really meeting some amazing men at church, and they have been so influential to him in his walk. We have truly been blessed! You guys know who are, and thank you!
Luke and I took Braxton to the Mayborn Museum today. Honestly, I think Luke enjoys it more than Braxton! haha But shhh...I didn't say that! It was good to get out of the house, and not be going to a doctor's appointment for once!
Amber and Halen Mae just got home today from Victoria, where Chris is the head coach of the Victoria Generals. They've been to the beach, and watched lots of baseball so I can't wait to hear their stories!
